BULLETIN: TOMORROW IS THE DEADLINE FOR RECOMMENDATIONS CONCERNING AN IMPROVED ELECTORAL SYSTEM

Basseterre, St. Kitts (November 5, 2006): Members of the public can submit suggestions for an improved electoral system via e-mail to erccsubmissions@gov.kn.

They can also forward their recommendations by phone at (869) 467-1555/1554, or by post or in person to the St. Kitts and Nevis Electoral Reform Secretariat, Former Development Bank Building, Church Street, Basseterre.

The deadline for submissions to the Electoral Reform Consultative Committee (ERCC) is tomorrow, Monday, November 6, 2006.

E-mail submissions must be sent by 12:00 a.m. (midnight) Tuesday, November 7, 2006. Submissions sent by hand must reach the Electoral Reform Secretariat by 4 p.m. tomorrow. Submissions sent to the Secretariat by regular mail must be postmarked before or on November 6, 2006.
