BULLETIN: DEADLINE FOR ELECTORAL REFORM RECOMMENDATIONS DRAWS NEAR

Basseterre, St. Kitts (November 6, 2006): The deadline for submissions to the Electoral Reform Consultative Committee (ERCC) draws near.

Members of the public can submit suggestions for an improved electoral system via e-mail to erccsubmissions@gov.kn, by phone at (869) 467-1555/1554, or by post or in person to the St. Kitts and Nevis Electoral Reform Secretariat, Former Development Bank Building, Church Street, Basseterre.

E-mail submissions must be sent by 12:00 a.m. (midnight) tomorrow, Tuesday, November 7, 2006. Submissions sent to the Electoral Reform Secretariat by regular mail must be postmarked by today, November 6, 2006. Submissions that are phoned in or delivered in person must reach the Secretariat by 4 p.m. today.

Stakeholders in the electoral reform process are invited to participate and let their voices be heard in the St. Kitts and Nevis Electoral Reform Exercise.
